VETERINARIAN
Upper Marlboro Veterinary Hospital is seeking an experienced veterinarian licensed to practice veterinary medicine in the state of Maryland for a part time position. We are looking for a 2-3 days per week work schedule.
PART TIME or LOCUM POSITION FOR A VETERINARIAN IS AVAILABLE.
VETERINARY RECEPTIONIST
Responsibilities include scheduling appointments, answering the telephone, setting up new clients and patients, preparation, and maintenance of medical records, admitting and discharging patients, filling some prescriptions, over the counter sales, mailings, computer operation, financial transactions, filing, and front office and reception area maintenance. Receptionists will assume the responsibility for acquiring the medical and legal information necessary for the performance of their duties.

VETERINARY TECHNICIANS
Upper Marlboro Veterinary Hospital is seeking an experienced veterinary technician to join our growing practice. The successful candidate will work in a well-maintained environment and be expected to assist with advanced diagnostics and treatments. Essential duties include patient anesthesia, drug dosage calculation and administration, laboratory diagnostics, and management of critically ill patients. Minimum of 1 year experience working in veterinary practice as a technician, hospital experience preferred. Excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as multi-tasking ability. Must be organized, honest, reliable, flexible, independent and have the proven ability to work with pets. Able to work on Saturdays, we are closed on Sundays.

Veterinary assistants assist veterinary technicians and doctors in everyday activities in caring for pets.

Groomers are responsible for pet bathing, grooming, cleaning, feeding, laundry, waste disposal.
